This isn't about Mormon astronauts, it's about something far more dangerous. I speak of the television program BATTLESTAR GALACTICA. What makes this program so dangerous? It's what is inside of it. It is full of Mormon beliefs and doctrine. Too much for just mere coincidence.

With all of the small children, as well as adults, that watch this program, there is a great deal of influence being 'programed' into the viewer's mind.

Later in life, or perhaps even no. The Mormons will come to your door, and the seed has already been planted. The Mormons will start to tell you about their beliefs, and some of it will sound vaguely familiar to you. The Mormons will tell you that it is the Spirit of God telling you that these things are true.

Here is just a partial list of the Mormon beliefs and doctrine that are involved:

BATTLESTAR- Kobol, the mother world of all humans. The planet where all life started. The inhabitants that lived on it before it 'died' are often referred to as the 'Lords of Kobol' or the 'Gods of Kobol.' MORMONISM- "And the Lord said unto me: These are the governing ones; and the name of the great one is Kolob, because it is near unto me..." (Pearl of Great Price, Abraham 3:3) and "...Kolob is the greatest...because it is nearest unto me" (Pearl of Great Price, Abraham 3:16). Notice the similarity between the names 'Kobol' and 'Kolob.'

BATTLESTAR- The people are led by Commander Adama and the Council (also known as Quorum) of Twelve. The head of which is called the president.

MORMONISM- They are led by the 'prophet' who has a Council (also known as Quorum) of Twelve under him. The prophet is also referred to as the president.

BATTLESTAR- Instead of being married, you are sealed, "not for now, but for all ages."

MORMONISM- "Those ordinances performed in the temple whereby husbands and wives are sealed together in the marriage union for time and eternity..." (Mormon Doctrine, p. 684).

BATTLESTAR- A ship of lights appeared and took several people inside of it. When they were confronted by the 'angel-like' crew they asked them who they were. They responded with, "You are as we once were, we are as you may become." (From the episode 'War of the Gods,' part 2).

MORMONISM- "As man is, God once was: as God is, man may become" (The Gospel Through the Ages, pp. 105, 106).

BATTLESTAR- Egyptian hieroglyphics were the written language of the people of Kobol.

MORMONISM- In the Pearl of Great Price, the book of Abraham was supposedly translated from a papyrus scroll that was written in Egyptian hieroglyphics.

BATTLESTAR- There are thirteen tribes. Twelve of the tribes are known, but one of these tribes left for a shining star known as earth, and is now lost.

MORMONISM- "But now I go unto the Father, and also to show myself unto the lost tribes of Israel..." (Book of Mormon, 3 Nephi 17:4) and "...and the leading of the ten tribes from the north" (Doctrine and Covenants 110:11). Mormons believe that ten of the twelve tribes of Israel disappeared or became lost.

BATTLESTAR- Count Iblis (an evil demonic character), said pertaining to himself, "There are some who are satisfied to accept me because of my works and are willing to follow me blindly..."

MORMONISM- Believes one has to do works in order to obtain salvation. As with Count Iblis, the Mormons want you to take them at face value, for the good works they do, and not by the things they keep silent from the general public.

In several episodes, the Cylons are referred to as demons. One of the head Cylons is named Lucifer. A Cylon is a type of robot that is very strong, intelligent, thinks, reacts, and is alive. Their sole purpose for existing is the "extermination of the life form known as man."

By referring to the Cylons as demons, and naming one of the head ones Lucifer, this program is trying to put Satan and his demons in physical form and appears to make them more powerful than they really are.

These are but a few of the many 'coincidental' similarities between Battlestar Galactica and the Mormon Church. The next time you watch this program, pay close attention to it and you will see for yourself just how much Mormon beliefs and doctrine are involved with this show. But be careful, so that you don't plant a seed that may be harvested by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
